You can upload your pet’s photo right on the product page via the “Choose File” button, then type the desired name or text into the personalization field. If you prefer, you can also email the photo and text to info@FromPhotoToPainting.com

What if I want a design for multiple pets or a pet memorial version of the mug?

Great news — you can absolutely! Just upload photos for each pet and use the “Special Requests” field (or email us) to specify: “two pets side-by-side”, “memorial text: In Loving Memory of …”, etc. We’ll send a proof that shows both (or all) pets, and you’ll still get unlimited revisions until you’re happy.

What photo quality do I need for best results?

Can I choose different colors, backgrounds, or designs?

Yes! If you’d like a different mug colour (beyond what’s shown) or a custom background (seasonal theme, memorial, multiple pets, etc.), use the “Special Requests” field or email us after ordering. We’ll confirm feasibility and update you if there’s any extra cost before printing.

What sizes, materials and finishes do the mugs use?

We offer:
• 11 oz (approx. 3.74″ high × 3.15″ diameter)
• 15 oz (approx. 4.72″ high × 3.39″ diameter)

Material: 100% white ceramic with a glossy surface and vibrant full-color sublimation print. Double-sided print on most sizes, though on the 15 oz the very bottom curve may not print fully — that’s normal.

The mugs are lead- and BPA-free and both microwave and dishwasher safe (for best longevity, hand-washing is recommended).

How long will it take to receive my custom mug?

Since each mug is made-to-order:

• Production time: approx. 3-6 business days (once you approve the design proof).
• Shipping: USA: About 5-8 business days, International: 2–3 weeks

If you have a tight deadline (e.g., gift for birthday/holiday) let us know and we’ll do our best to expedite.

Can I make changes once I’ve placed the order?

Yes, during the proofing stage. After you place the order, we’ll send you a digital proof of the mug design within 1-2 business days. You have unlimited revisions until you’re happy with the design. Once you approve and production begins, changes cannot be made. If you need something adjusted post-production, contact us and we’ll evaluate.

Is the print dishwasher and microwave safe? Will it fade over time?

Yes – the ceramic mug with sublimation print is dishwasher-safe and microwave-safe under normal use. For best longevity of print and colour vibrancy, hand-washing is recommended and avoid using harsh scrubbing with metallic pads. Over time, like all printed items, the colours may fade slightly — treating it gently will help maintain vibrancy.

What happens if my mug arrives damaged or the print is incorrect?

Because each mug is custom-printed, we cannot accept returns or exchanges simply because “I changed my mind.” However:

• If your mug arrives damaged or with a printing error (wrong image/text, significant defect), contact us right away (ideally within 48 hours) with a photo of the issue. We’ll either re-print or refund as appropriate.

• Minor variations in colour, placement or finish are normal (because of the sublimation process and curved surface) and are not considered defects.
